Divorce data is some of the most sensitive material a person ever creates. We treat it that way.

Encryption everywhere

TLS 1.2+ in transit; AES-256 at rest. Database backups are encrypted with managed keys.

Immutable audit log

Every authentication, access, edit, and download is recorded; logs are tamper-evident and exportable.

Role-based access

Granular roles for partners, associates, paralegals, clients, and family members. Least privilege by default.

2FA & SSO

TOTP 2FA on every plan; SAML/OIDC SSO on Enterprise.

US-based hosting

AWS US regions; daily encrypted backups with point-in-time recovery.

Vendor review

Subprocessors are vetted, contracted with DPAs, and listed on our Privacy page.

Always exportable

CSV, PDF, and DOCX exports of every artifact. We will never hold your data hostage.

Compliance posture

VennBoard is built to family-law trust standards: confidentiality of client information, court-defensible records, and data-portability obligations. We are working toward SOC 2 Type II audit and are happy to share our security questionnaire on request.

Data residency

Production data is stored in AWS US regions. Enterprise customers may negotiate alternative residency.

Subprocessor list

The current list is maintained on our Privacy Policy. We notify customers of material changes at least 30 days before they take effect.

Reporting a vulnerability

Email our contact form with a description, reproduction steps, and your contact info. Please give us a reasonable time to remediate before public disclosure. We commit to a 24-hour acknowledgment and a 90-day fix or mitigation target.
