Amegy Bank Commercial Card Credit Card Review

Overview

The Amegy Bank Commercial Card is a visa card issued by Amegy Bank , based in Houston, TX. It is issued to businesses rather than to individuals.

If you are separating or co-parenting

These are the parts of this card that land differently when a household is becoming two. None of it is a recommendation — your own position decides that.

• Not a personal card. This is issued to a business rather than an individual, so it is not where to start rebuilding personal credit after a separation. It matters if you and your spouse are dividing a business you both own, which is a different question from household credit.
• Ask what it costs to hold. One income is now covering two households, so an annual fee is a fixed cost worth knowing before you apply rather than after. Fees change, so get the current figure from Amegy Bank .
• Ask about foreign transaction charges. Worth checking if your co-parent has moved abroad, or if parenting time involves travel and the costs are being shared.

Conclusion

This review covers what the Amegy Bank Commercial Card is and how its structure lands if you are separating or co-parenting. It deliberately does not quote an interest rate, an annual fee or a credit limit, because those are set by Amegy Bank , vary with your own creditworthiness, and change often enough that any figure printed here would be out of date before you read it.

For the current terms, go to Amegy Bank directly. The Consumer Financial Protection Bureau also publishes a free card comparison tool built from terms that issuers report twice a year, which is a better place to compare rates than any review page.
